There are many ways to get involved with Rebuilding Together Baton Rouge.
Sponsor a house, make a financial or in-kind donation, or provide volunteers.

Corporate sponsors, financial donations, and grants fund Rebuilding Together Baton Rouge.
We pool donations  to maximize impact in the community. Many of the materials and professional
services required for operation are provided through in-kind donations.

Sponsor A House
Home sponsors are the key to the growth of our organization. Sponsors are encouraged to participate in our Rebuild Day by taking an active role.

How House Sponsorship Works
Contributions are pooled for each Rebuild Day event. Rebuilding Together Baton Rouge typically provides the following support for each home renovation project:
  • Home inspection and selection            
  • Building materials
  • Painting tools and supplies                    
  • Ladders and limited tools
  • Warehouse storage for materials
  • Safety supplies
  • T-shirts for volunteers                
  • Lunch on Rebuild Day
  • Training for House Captains                  
  • Technical assistance as needed
First time house sponsors are paired with a seasoned house captain. The house captain guides a sponsor through the rebuild process. We continually monitor the rebuild process to provide a streamlined experience for volunteers and sponsors. Should a company or organization decide to sponsor a house through financial support only, we can assemble a team of house captains and volunteers to complete the project on their behalf.

FINANCIAL SUPPORT
We rely on the work of volunteers providing their generous gifts of time and energy. However, we cannot put volunteers to work without your generous financial gift to help pay for materials and services. Every dollar given will generate $4 worth of repair services. Please consider a financial contribution for use towards our vision of growing our services and increasing the impact on our community.

In-Kind Donations
Donations are always appreciated. Following are suggested in-kind donations, but please contact us with any proposals.

  • Material donations or purchase discounts
  • Professional services such as accounting, legal, marketing, repair services, etc.
  • Warehouse space
  • Food donations
  • Promotional materials such as t-shirts, banners and printing services

VOLUNTEER
Volunteers are the lifeblood of Rebuilding Together and the catalyst for our projects. Volunteer groups and year round volunteers provide the necessary support for the Rebuild Day event, planning, and logistics.
